Youth clubs

Inclusive Arts

Performing arts age 9+

Discover the joy of performing arts in a welcoming and inclusive environment! 
 
Our exciting programme is designed for young people aged 9+ offering a range of creative activities that everyone can enjoy.
 
Get involved in immersive theatre, expressive dance, fun singing sessions, and our unique Makaton choir—helping everyone communicate through music and movement. 
 
We work with fantastic organisations like Open Theatre, That! Dance, and the Esme Project to bring exciting opportunities for creativity, self-expression, and sensory experiences.

Nex Gen Youth Club

Youth club age 10-24yrs

Packed with exciting activities, giving young people the chance to have fun, learn new skills, and make great friends.
 
Get involved in sports, arts, music, and cooking, or take part in our youth forums and Dragons’ Den project. Plus, members have the opportunity to work towards their Duke of Edinburgh Award, gaining valuable experience along the way.
 
There’s something for everyone – come and be part of the adventure!

Jump into Jamboree

Youth club for age 14+

This exciting social club is the perfect place to have fun, make friends, and build confidence while enjoying a mix of discos, karaoke, quizzes, and themed social nights.
 
Each month, we also head out for community-based outings and host Liberty’s Band Night, where talented young people come together to make great music.
 
This open-access youth group is a fantastic way to develop social skills, gain independence, and prepare for Liberty’s over-18 weekend social programme.

Boys-only youth club - Boyz R Us

Boys R Us - Boys youth club age 13+

Offering weekly sessions where you can cook together, enjoy a variety of activities, including sports, arts, pool, and much more.
 
We also organise half-term outings, providing the chance to gain experience in the community and learn how to manage yourself in new situations.
 
This is the perfect place to build confidence, try new things, and make lasting friendships.

Girls-only youth club - Liberty Angels

Liberty Angels – Girls youth club for age 13+

Liberty Angels is a vibrant, girls youth club offering a variety of exciting opportunities for young ladies. 
 
Each session includes both on-site and off-site activities, such as six weekly visits to a beauty salon, meals out, shopping trips, and much more!
 
It’s the perfect place to meet new friends, build confidence, and enjoy a range of fun and engaging experiences. Whether you’re looking to relax, try something new, or just have a laugh with friends, Liberty Angels has something for everyone.

Liber-teens youth club

Liber-Teens youth club for ages 8-12yrs

Our youth club for younger members is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills, make friends, and have fun—independently from family and carers. It’s the perfect space for young people to connect with others outside of school and build confidence.
 
Each session is packed with fun, informal learning, including cooking, arts, music, dance, and much more. We also have sensory play and engagement activities, organise trips out into the community, offering exciting opportunities to experience new things and develop new skills with friends.
 
At Liberty, we ensure that everyone is included by offering a sensory element to the youth club, so every member can fully participate.

Saturday morning youth club

Saturday morning fun - ages 8-14yrs

Kick off your weekend with our fun Saturday morning session, packed with engaging youth work activities to get you started on the right foot.
 
This session also offers another chance to access martial arts with MAMA, where you can combine mindfulness, awareness, and martial arts to boost your fitness and focus.

Sessions for different age groups

Our weekly football training programme is open to both boys and girls, providing a great opportunity to improve your skills, have fun, and play alongside friends.
 
Members also have the chance to join the Abilities Counts League, taking part in competitive football matches and challenging themselves on the pitch.
 
Liberty has several teams competing in the Staffordshire Ability Counts League, so you also have the opportunity to be part of a supportive and competitive team. 
 
Whether you’re new to football or looking to step up your game, we’ve got a place for you.

Rugby training

Inclusive rugby training age 8+

Liberty is proud to work in partnership with Leicester Tigers and Lichfield Rugby Club to offer weekly training sessions and exciting opportunities to participate in inclusive rugby tournaments.
 
This is a fantastic chance to develop your skills, get active, and be part of a supportive rugby community.
 
Whether you’re new to rugby or looking to enhance your abilities, you’ll have the chance to compete and grow with others.

Inclusive martial arts

Martial Arts with MAMA (Mindfulness, Awareness & Martial Arts) for ages 13+

Our MAMA session combines martial arts, mindfulness, and awareness to help you build confidence, improve focus, and develop discipline.
 
This programme isn’t just about fitness; it’s about growing both physically and mentally, learning self-control, and cultivating emotional awareness. As you progress, you can also work towards earning your colour belts, setting personal goals and celebrating your achievements along the way.
 
If you’re looking for a fun, challenging, and rewarding experience, this is the perfect opportunity to push yourself and develop valuable life skills. 

That! Dance

That! Dance - Inclusive dance group age 13+

That! Dance is an inclusive and welcoming dance group where you can express yourself through movement in a fun and supportive space.
 
Run by the Critical Mass Legacy, a programme born out of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, we keep dancing, creating, and performing together. Members also have the chance to take part in live performances, films, collaborations, and exhibitions—building confidence, learning new skills, and being part of something special.
 
No experience needed—just bring your energy and enthusiasm!

Liberty Fitness Class

HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) Fitness Class age 13+

Boost your fitness and challenge yourself in a fun, high-energy environment.
 
HIIT is a great workout that alternates between short bursts of intense exercise and brief periods of rest or lower-intensity exercise.
 
This class is perfect for ages 13+ and is a great way to get stronger, increase stamina, and improve overall fitness. 
 
Whether you’re new to HIIT or already a fan, you’ll find the support and motivation you need to push yourself to the next level.

Liberty Striders running club

Liberty Striders - Inclusive running club

Our weekly walking and running club is a great way to stay active, have fun, and meet new people. With different levels to suit everyone, you can go at your own pace while improving your fitness.
 
We also take part in Park Runs and competitive races, giving you the chance to challenge yourself and celebrate your progress.
 
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced runner, there’s a place for you—come and get moving with us!

Opportunities for socialising and experiencing various activities with friends, such as concerts, festivals, meals out, holidays, and more.

Bespoke Youth Group for Queens Croft School

Queens Croft Friday Youth Group (includes transport)

Our bespoke youth club is offered every Friday from 1:30pm, in partnership with Queens Croft School, providing an extended day for parents and carers as the school day finishes earlier.
 
The club offers a variety of exciting activities, including arts, cooking, and plenty of fun! It’s a fantastic opportunity for young people to explore new hobbies, build skills, and enjoy their Friday afternoons in a safe and supportive environment.

Safer Space

Drop-in group to offer support to members around relationships and LGBTQ+

Holiday Provisions

Holiday provisions, residentials and trips are planned throughout the year and Liberty offer HAF and SPACE during the summer holidays.

Jamboree on Board

Day Opportunities (Aged 18-35s) provides targeted group work, community based volunteering focusing on life skills, independent living, employability skills and travel training for young adults to learn, grow and develop – widening their world; we aim to empower each individual to increase their self-esteem and offer a chance to discover and develop, enabling them to be more visible within their communities and move closer to the workplace. Liberty work with a range of different organisations and together we have established a range of volunteer opportunities across Lichfield, Rugeley, Tamworth, Burntwood & Cannock.  Opportunities include, administration, horticulture, retail, hospitality, IT & support with the elderly and youth work

Parent/Carer support

Liberty parents/carers have set up a group to offer support to one another, arrange key speakers and support and organise fundraising events for Liberty. The group are keen to support and recruit parent/carer volunteers to support these sessions.  libertyparentactiongroup388@gmail.com
